In addition to being a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Thompson is also a Qualified Medical Examiner. This means that she has undergone extensive training with the Industrial Medical Council to learn the specific methods of examination and treatment used in the State of California Workers' Compensation System. Dr. Thompson offers Qualified Medical Examinations for injured workers who are in need of this service. Usually, patients are referred to her through their attorney or insurance adjuster when their case requires such an exam.

Dr. Thompson is also qualified to perform what are called AOE/COE examinations, which determine whether a person was indeed injured on the job. She is also able to act as an Agreed Medical Examiner. In all types of exams, a thorough summary report is prepared, so that the case can proceed, or go to closure.

Dr. Thompson has had extensive, on-the-job experience in this field. She works with Dr. Blake Thompson M.D., at his office in San Bernardino every Thursday. Dr. Blake (yes there is a relation: he's her brother!) has been in the Workers' Compensation field for 13 years, and is a renowned and sought-after examiner. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and is a specialist in Electro-diagnostic Medicine and Pain Management. Dr. Beverly has gained invaluable experience working side-by-side with this expert physician.

• We are usually able to schedule an exam within a few weeks of your call.
• We will need to contact your case adjuster and/or your attorney, and will arrange for copies of your medical records to be sent to our office before the date of the exam.
• An extensive questionnaire concerning your injury will be sent to you prior to the exam date so that you can complete it in the comfort of your home.
